Noro Rittou
Noro Rittou is a beautiful wool, silk, and mohair blend named after the Japanese term for‘the first day of winter. With the warmth of wool and mohair, and the luster and strength fo silk, this worsted weight yarn has a lovely soft hand and a delicate palette of wearable colors perfect for winter into spring.
In Japan, Rittou marks the end of autumn where all the colors from the leaves begin to turn brown as they fall from the trees Each Rittou colorway has a natural brown wool blended in to give all colorways an warm tone. The colorways are meant to bring to mind the golden sunsets of late autumn, the snow-covered landscapes winter is known for, and the holiday lights adorning the icy streets below. Rittou comes in generous 150 gram barrel skeins of 361 yards.
