Crazy for Ewe

Every single capsule wardrobe expert says you need a classic white tee shirt. It can be dressed up or down, they say.  It goes with everything, they claim.  

But there’s a problem.  .

The evolution of yarn construction is a fascinating journey. I remember back around 2010 when I first saw a modern construction yarn and thought, "What the..?"  Mirasol Ushya, a super bulky chainette yarn, was like nothing I had ever seen, and I was not at all sure I was going to like it. 

Fast forward 14 years, and it's become one of my favorite yarn types.  There are so many different ways chainette yarn can be created.  The size of the fibers knitted into cord, the number of stitches, and  the tightness of those stitches 

Cilantro. One of the most polarizing and divisive food ingredients known. I first tasted it when my Mexican then mother-in-law served me her homemade salsa. I didn’t perceive it as soapy, as so many do, but more metallic. It was unfamiliar for sure. I did grow to like it very much, and still find myself buying a bunch nearly every week.

How do I choose what size to knit??? It's the most asked question in the shop, on line, and in our membership site, Club Crazy for Ewe. Choosing the right size is confusing, especially for dropped shoulder garments that have crazy amounts of ease.   Some patterns, like Rowan patterns, suggest a size based on your full bust measurement.  The sizes are indicated with the words to fit bust, 

What to knit??? I'm already tired of my winter knits but it's too early for me to get excited about summertime.  I'm looking at transitional pieces now.  Sweaters that works for chilly mornings but aren't too warm for sunny afternoons. Things I can slip on and off in fabrics that breathe, and colors that speak to my heart's longing for springtime.
