Fall Fest was amazing!

We had a fabulous time at Fall Fest last weekend with the Shibui Trunk Show, the lovely Angela from Willow Tree with her gorgeous new yarns, tastings all day, and prizes every hour! Our two grand prize winners were Dana Russell who won the Shibui Icon Wrap kit, and Chris Guy, who won yarn from Willow Tree! Congratulations, ladies!

f you had to be at the fair all weekend, or you were out of town, and you missed Fall Fest, all is not lost.  You can still come and see lots of lovely new things.

 I'm pleased that we are able to keep the Shibui Trunk Show in house through next week, so you still have time to come try on the garments, and have a look at how beautifully their new yarn, Birch, mixes with the other yarns in their line.  

Angela let us borrow the spectacular sample of Equinox, a new shawl design just released on Ravelry.  This version is knit with just two skeins of her incredibly squooshy Luxury Aran and features a modern asymmetrical shape and a compelling blend of lace and texture.    This Luxury Aran is so amazing, you have to feel it to believe it.  Take a look at the Luxury Fingering yarn - a great yarn for shawls, and sweaters, not to mention, a perfect treat for your feet!
