Portia Jenkins stopped by the LaPlata shop this morning to share her progress on a smashing cobalt blue baby blanket in ever-soft, easy-care, ever-reliable Vintage. Baby to arrive shortly. She's doing a gorgeous job, and she only started a week ago. But even more beautiful than the blanket is that smile! Isn’t it pretty! She’s using a basket weave pattern that alternates stockinette squares with seed stitch outlines. I think it’s her own design!
