    April 22, 2011 2 min read

Sweet Pat brought me a lovely surprise today - a chocolate peanut butter Easter Egg.  This is clearly a woman who knows my deepest, darkest secrets...

It even has my name on it.  I was so good at the shop today that I didn't even break into the pretty little sealed box to peek at it close up.  But you know, after a little dinner and a glass of wine, my willpower is not so strong. So waiting until Easter seemed really unnecessary.

It was totally delicious.  I did have to share it with the assembled body at my house - two sons and a husband.  We all agreed that it was amazing.  Smooth and sweet, but not too sweet.  It was perfect.  Of course it was - Pat made it, and she is a total perfectionist - with cooking, candy-making, and knitting.  Her work is beautiful.  Thank you so much, Pat.

We had two other wonderful knitters in with their projects this afternoon.  Duffy is making great progress on her Midwest Moonlight in beautiful aqua Shirikaba.  Like me, Duffy is an unrepentant Noro addict.  She totally gets the Wabi Sabi nature of Noro.  In case you're in La Plata tomorrow, you can thank Phyllis for the beautiful Rosemary stems and Duffy for using her Ikebana skills to arrange them in Paula's chic black vase.  I didn't get a picture of it, so you'll have to go in and see if for yourself.

Cathy was in with her Lady Eleanor in beautiful Taiyo. That's such a great piece Cathy.  Nice work!

Tomorrow, I'll post pictures of a new yarn surprise...See if you can guess what it might be. If you post your  guess as a comment on the blog, I'll give you 20% off your next purchase!  But you have to post your guess on the blog - that's not sending me an email, it's posting a comment on the blog.  Don't know how?  Check here.
