Susan Goldstine was in today with some fabulous products from her sabbatical. She and a colleague have been demonstrating interesting mathematical concepts using bead crochet. She stopped by the shop to say hello and share her work with us. We all admired the profound significance of the mathematical principles and then greedily grabbed the bracelets and tried them on.
Susan said we had to give them all back and we were all sad. She won't even sell them to us. Now I know how non-knitters feel when the come in the shop and don't understand why we won't sell the sample sweaters!
