The very lovely Julie R. was the first to finish her Clapotis from the July Knit-along. The original Clapotis pattern makes a very large, almost shawl-sized scarf. In the Audrey, as Julie used, it's more of a scarf. Here's a close-up of it opened up and worn as a very light wrap
The smaller, lighter version is a wonderful accessory for all seasons. In the summer you can drape it lightly around bare shoulders in the cool of the evening. It's perfect at the office any season as a lively fashion accent. The larger heavier version is nice when it's actually cold outside!
As the winner of the KAL, Julie received a free skein of gorgeous Ellyn Cooper Gemini,. She decided to use her winnings to make another of these chic wraps in the larger gauge, so she picked up a couple of additional skeins. She selected the Ivory Rose colorway. This will be so lovely on her.
Congratulations, Julie!
