Ginni finished her Triple Wrap shawl some time back. She used the Gloria Steinem colorway which looks as if it had been spun from opals. Gorgeous.
Even her husband commented on how beautiful the shawl was as it lay blocking on their dining room table.
It's surprising for many beginning lace knitters to find that they're starting not at the point, but at the center top of this shawl. Ginni mentioned especially to all of the newer lace knitters how important blocking is to bring out those lovely swallowtail points along the edge. The blocking board makes this job easier and also ensures that you've blocked the shawl symmetrically.
If you've done the Triple Wrap, please send me a photo and I'll post it too.
