  • Great American Afghan Knit along

The first square (Square 3 by Hanna Burns) the group had selected proved to be a bit more challenging than anticipated, so most folks decided to put that one off until they felt more comfortable with cables. Sandy, however, finished hers. Sandy, bring that in next time you come so we can get a photo!

The square selected for June is the one by Ginette Belanger on page 14/15. It has a single cable up the center set off by bramble stitch on either side. Here's one in progress.

Sherry and Paula have both finished theirs.

The group meets the second Tuesday of each month to choose the square, go over the pattern, and have fun. You can join this knit along anytime. Next meeting will be July 14th. Call the La Plata shop (240-349-2853) for more information.

How is the Great American Afghan KAL going? I have just finished my first square (No. 3) and I’m looking for an online KAL to join. I was wondering how you guys were doing and if I could join (cyberwise)?
