I don't usually enjoy what I consider to be fussy fancy little things, but when we sat down to learn this pattern, I fell totally in love. First off, we all chose gorgeous yarn. Paula is using the exact shades of silver, grey, and cream shown on the cover of the magazine for a lovely neutral palette.

Buffy chose the gorgeous Artyarns Silk Rhapsody Glitter in a blue and aqua colorway,

and I chose my favorite, Alchemy Synchronicity in pink and cream. Each flower is an easy pattern with just five repeats. Easy enough to memorize, and small enough to be worked on two double-pointed size 5 needles. I went right home and swapped my 14 inch Lantern Moons for a pair of ebony sox stix. It's just the right thing to stick into my purse for those times when I have just a minute or two to knit and don't want to have to lug out my pattern and a pile of knitting. Very fabulous.

When we're all done with the flowers we make a long edging and attach the flowers. The fun part is adding a few Swarovski Crystals to the whole thing and WOW. What a great look. Can't wait.
