10,000 New Knitters

The wonderful people at Skacel, distributors of Addi needles, Zauberball sock yarns, and several other lines are on a mission.  They want to create 10,000 new knitters in one day, and they've partnered with yarn stores across the country to make it happen.  Skacel is donating 10,000 kits with needles and yarn - what you need to do is bring a friend to the shop on November 10th, get one of the kits, and teach your friend (or friends) to knit.  Park yourselves at one of our tables, or on our comfy sofa, and get going.  There will be plenty of staff on hand to help if either you or your student run into a snag.  

There'll be prizes!

I'll be giving away a spot in our 17 November Cocoknits Method Class as a grand prize, and Julie Weisenberger from Cocoknits has donated several Maker's Keeps we'll be giving away too!  

A needle expo

We'll have all the different kinds of interchangeable needles available for you to test drive and see which is your favorite.  Always good to know what you want in case someone is shopping for you!

And food!

I've partnered with Social Coffee for a special menu you can order from and have delivered right to the shop.  And I'll have cookies and coffee so you don't get faint from the excitement ;)
