Quality ~ I'm really careful about the yarns we carry.  We like to put yarn through its paces before we bring it into the shop.  We swatch it, and wash it and dry it--even if it says "superwash." I want to be sure, so that you can be sure.  Sometimes, with brand new yarns just going into production, we can't get a skein to swatch before we order, so I only buy from vendors I trust - vendors that consistently deliver a high-quality product and stand behind those products for me, so that I can stand behind them for you.  We're very generous with our time--and we're respectful of your time as well. In our classes, you'll learn what you expect, but much more too.  Our teachers are experts who truly love to share what they know, and have worked with so many different knitters and crocheters on so many kinds of projects that we're pretty sure you can't have a problem that we can't help you with.

Style ~ I'm not talking about what's on the runway.  That's fashion.  I'm talking about style, or more specifically, your personal style, which is a powerful internal force that you control.  Personal style allows you to filter fashion trends to suit your life and your tastes.  We're all grown ups, and we have plenty of years of experience dressing ourselves - we know what looks good on us, what colors flatter our skin, and what works in our life.  That's personal style. We keep an eye on the fashion industry, but we're not slaves to it.  That's what we mean by style.  The Crazy for Ewe team is here to help you create garments that fit your body, flatter your figure, and suit your life - and that feel fresh and current, because no one want to feel frumpy!

Fun ~ At Crazy for Ewe you'll find lovely yarns and patterns, but it's really important to us that you have fun here.  Knitting is not the quickest, easiest, or cheapest way to get a sweater, scarf, or socks, so if you aren't having fun doing it, then why bother --right? Our approach is simple: choose fibers you love in colors that make you swoon, and create things that make you happy. Whether you're making your first garter stitch scarf or a complicated heirloom garment for a beloved grandchild, we are here to help you. We're also truly fortunate in our community of customers: Crazy for Ewe knitters and crocheters cheer each other on, celebrating successes and pitching in to help untangle those momentary glitches. The time you spend with us and our yarns should be relaxing and rewarding, and we've got terrific people at both shops to ensure that you have a wonderful experience at Crazy for Ewe, whether you're taking a class, participating in a knit-along, or just hanging out working on your project.
