Berroco Brio Cowl
Materials: 1 skein Berroco Brio
Size 13 circular needles 24" (or size to obtain gauge.)
Gauge = 2.5 stitches per inch
Finished measurements 38" circumference, 6" wide.
Notes: It is very important to cast on and bind off loosely for this project. If you are using the long-tail cast on leave about a finger's width of space between each stitch to ensure the cast on edge is loose enough. When you are binding off, use a larger needle in your right hand to ensure a loose bind off edge.
Instructions: Cast on 96 stitches, join in the round, being careful not to twist your stitches. Mark beginning of the round with a stitch marker.
Rounds 1-5: Knit 3, Purl 3
Rounds 6-11: Purl 3, Knit 3
Repeat rounds 1-11 once more for total of 22 rounds.
Bind off loosely in pattern - see Notes above.
Cowl can be worn doubled for a cozy warm accessory.
