Vogue Knitting Magazine, for me, is much like Vogue Magazine. I always buy it, knowing that there are typically only a couple of garments I like and would actually wear, but I love looking at the pictures - even the ads - to get a sense of the trends. I do love this one, from the current issue.
What interests me most, though, are the articles. Vogue Knitting has a regular column by Meg Swanson on interesting techniques. This issue Meg's done a really good piece on the three different short row techniques, with great illustrations and well written guidance. Lots of knitters shy away from short rows because they don't get the technique, which is a shame, because it's really quite simple once you understand what's going on. Meg takes the mystery out for you.
We have a few copies of this issue still in stock at each shop, so come get one today and give short rows a try.
