  • Triana - it's too much fun

    July 25, 2011 1 min read

If you take Flounce, and put it on steroids, you get Triana.  It's super-loopy, and crazy--you'll look at it and think what the heck is this stuff and how am I supposed to knit with it?  But it's actually really easy to use and it works up faster than fast on big needles.  You'll insert your needle into the top-most loops to cast on and then knit along always using the top loops of the yarn.

When you get a few rows into it, you'll see this gorgeous ruffled fabric with subtle color shifts.  The Triana Lux even has a hint of metallic sparkle in it.

Ginni knit this one up in a couple of hours with just one skein of Triana.  She cast on 8 stitches, which makes a nice full scarf.  Another customer cast on just 6 stitches which makes a longer and slightly narrower scarf.

Ruffles are everywhere, and so much fun.  These scarves are so quick to knit, you can do one for everyone on your holiday gift list - except the guys.  For some reason, guys just don't want one of these.  Can't understand it.  ;-)
