Leonardown's Beach Party on the Square is coming Saturday, August 6th from 4-9 p.m. Next to Christmas on the Square, this is the biggest and most fun event in town. The town hauls in tons of sand for a real live beach right in downtown! Kids of all ages have a grand time playing in the sand whether it's scooping and building or beach volleyball. Live music by St. Mary's 25th Hour Band really adds to the festivities and will get you up and dancing in the streets. There's fun around every corner with a water slide, moon bounce, face-painting, balloon animals, and Mr. Magic doing magic tricks. There are jump rope, hula hoop, and limbo contests, an well as classic cars, arts and crafts, food, and more. Take a stroll down to the Leonardtown Wharf Park and try kayaking on Breton Bay if you're game.
Bring the kids, and let them frolic. We'll be open at Crazy for Ewe - join us - you can bring your hula hoop, if you like...or maybe just your knitting. We'll have pink drinks and lots of fun.
