Rowan's new pattern book for cotton arrived this week. So many great designs. I love this one especially
Maybe it's because it's pink, but I would love it in any color. I think I'm going to do it in Louisa Harding's Ianthe because it's the perfect gauge, and the wool and cotton together give it just the right bounce.
I'm still in love with the white one from Vogue Knitting, too. Tonight while I was wasting time on Ravelry doing important pattern research, I saw that at least two people had already finished this. One knitter had eliminated the gap at at the front, which made for a very nice alternate effect in the front. It was also nice to see how attractive and flattering this design is not only on the tall skinny model but on a shorter person and also on a heavier person. It's a really great design that can have such wide appeal and flatter so many different shapes. See the projects here.
