This is a shameless plug for the fabulous St. Andrew's Church bazaar this weekend, Saturday, November 6th. This is the old-fashioned kind of church bazaar you remember from your childhood. There will be homemade jams and relish, cakes, pies, bread, and much more. I'm making the amazing homemade caramel corn from Deborah's recipe and my own incredible (yes, it really is better than most) peanut brittle. You can purchase hand-knit garments, really beautiful hand-crafted jewelry and other clever hand-made items. We also have beautiful paperwhite bulb kits that will bloom four to six weeks after you start watering them! What a lovely teacher gift these potted bulbs make - or a fabulous treat for your own home this holiday season.
For the kids we'll have a giant moonbounce, face painting, glittery crowns, crafts, toy gliders and fun carnival games. We have gently used children's toys and games at great prices too. It's going to be such a wonderful fun day!
If you come early, you can get a great cup of coffee and some homemade coffee cake. In the late morning you can enjoy a delicious grilled bratwurst - and try some of our homemade relish on it.
The bazaar is St. Andrews' major annual fund raiser, and Ginni and I are co-chairs of the bazaar this year, so we have a real vested interest in the success of event! If you come down we'd like to encourage .
