What a great day we had with Nora! She is an amazing designer as well as an outstanding teacher. Nora went around the room asking each of us what we hoped to learn in the class and what was our top priority for the day. One student said she wanted to ensure her bag looked hand-crafted instead of homemade, and Nora replied, "Well, you've come to the right place." And so we had. Each of us showed up with our felted Noni bags, and Nora gave group as well as individual instruction on how to approach and execute the finishing of our particular bag. We really rolled up our sleeves and got into the process. From taking the bag out of the washer to adding the final embellishments, Nora guided us through the many potential pitfalls and helped us ensure that our bag was exactly as we dreamed. My bag, which I had thought was nearly ready to go, is now 1000% better. I'm proud and pleased with everything I learned, but most of all, I feel confident about everything that comes after the knitting. Can't wait to start another fabulous Noni bag. Thank you, Nora.
I've got some great photos from my own camera, and those of others in the class, so I'll post pics as soon as I get them together.
