Hello all, as you can see, I am the queen of something. Actually, that is the Al Faw Palace where I had to do some training today. Steve Labows was there with his trusty camera.
So you can see I am still in one piece. Things are crazy here. We work 12-15 hour days, every day. At least I have a nice little room and I don't have to wear my body armor. Its really all good here. There is a little 24-hour coffee shop where I can get my lattes. The second day I was here, the girl knew what my order was. And, hey they do my laundry for me! I am very busy and the people are funny. The a/c is broken for the at least the third day--but who's counting. So Md is so good. Outside it's close to 130; inside it's close to 100. The Aussies took pity on me and kitted me out with a 3 foot fan, fabulous. What more could I ask for? Miss you guys and the pool and the book club and knitting and.... k
