Movies Movies Movies From 2-5 pm

Our movie line up has been posted!  Come get a half day ticket (Just $15!) and enjoy the show!  Our screening begins a little earlier than I had thought.  The first session, which begins at 2:00 is a series of shorts - each running about 4 minutes.  You can read descriptions of each film on the Southern Maryland Film Festival website.  The films are:

At 2:30 we have Shelley Wilson's film "The Dinner" which shows how one family uses local resources and sustainable farming to make drastic improvements in their lives and in the lives of others.  For those of you who know Christina Allen, this film is about her farm. It's a lovely farm, and you can see Christina's artistic talent in the arrangement of the plantings throughout the garden. 

Running time is 73 minutes.

These are all fun and interesting films, and I hope you'll join us. Bring your knitting and enjoy!  Half day tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids.  They're cash only today, and you can purchase them at the box office on the first floor of the Leonardtown Arts Center.
