Crazy sock lady? Me?

I've been having so much fun making socks.  Who knew I'd turn into one of those crazy sock knitters?  It really is a lot of fun.  Socks are a perfect project to move you from beginner to the next level.  When you've mastered knit and purl, and ribbing, socks are a logical next step.  Socks are kind of like a kid's mulit-vitamin - fun and tasty, but packed with lots of good for you skills and techniques.  If you've never tried socks - or if you have tried but haven't had success - join us for this most basic of sock classes.  We'll be working with a nice easy worsted weight yarn and going from the cuff down on double pointed needles.  This approach is how most sock patterns are written, so it's important to really understand this method so you have access to all those wonderful patterns you've seen.  Later on we'll delve into other approaches, but this is where it all starts.
